I checked out a lot of similar choppers and narrowed it down to this one and two other similar quality, well-known brands with similar features – each was slightly different. I chose this one because of what blades I would use most.
Overall, pleased. Cleaning the blades and the plastic where the blade sinks into isn’t super easy but not too difficult.
I like to prepare large batches of soups, etc., for freezing. Sometimes, cutting by hand is not my favorite so I bought this. I’ve used it a handful of times over the last six months and it has generally done a great job every time. That said, you still have to cut some things to smaller sizes like potatoes, carrots, and celery, to get it small enough to use in the chopper. So, if I’m already chopping, I find myself continuing to chop by hand sometimes because it is quicker and less clean-up. The trade off can sometimes be a sore hand after cutting for awhile.
For the price point of about $25, it was worth the purchase. It gives me options.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love this item. This particular one had good ratings and a good price point. I have long wanted to get one of these slicers as my daughter and daughter in law both have one and I’m always impressed with how easy they are to use. It’s also fun for my grandchildren to use to help out with food prep without having to use a knife. I was not expecting to love it as much as I do. I have a fantastic electric food processor but, sometimes, you just don’t want to get the whole thing out and clean up after it when you’re just cutting a few things. The way it cuts things into perfect little tiny cubes is so impressive. It makes me feel like a chef in my humble kitchen. I have used it to cute onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, celery, garlic and carrots. I’ve also grated cheese with it. It didn’t have any trouble with any of it. It’s built strong and is super durable. It comes apart for cleaning or changing the blade so easily and washes up like a dream. Highly recommend.

I’ll be honest—I hate chopping vegetables. It’s the part of cooking I dread the most. But this Mueller chopper has seriously changed how I feel about meal prep. It’s fast, easy, and honestly kind of satisfying to use.
It comes with a ton of blade options—more than I’ll probably ever need—but I love that I can switch between dicing, slicing, and shredding without dragging out a bunch of separate tools. It makes perfect little cubes out of onions, peppers, tomatoes… even cabbage. And the built-in container keeps the mess under control, which is a huge win.
Everything is easy to clean (yes, dishwasher safe!) and the little cleaning tool they include is actually super helpful for getting stuff out of the blades. Setup is simple and it doesn’t take up much space at all.
My only complaint is that I wish it came with some kind of case or storage box for all the blades and pieces—right now I just keep everything in a drawer, but it’d be nice to have a more organized spot for it all.
If you’re like me and dread veggie prep, this thing is 100% worth it. Total game changer for getting healthy meals on the table without all the hassle.

UPDATE: I love this product so much! It turns out, I use it almost every day. I like to cook from scratch and I have pretty good knife skills. This product is perfect for dicing onions! No more tears! Just peel, cut the onion in half. I can either small or medium dice, depending on which insert I choose. So easy! I’ve grown to love dicing bell peppers this way, too. This slices mushrooms beautifully. I was surprised that it does a pretty good (but messy) job of dicing tomatoes (lots of juice). Carrots dice or slice well, too. The trick is that the vegetable or fruit isn’t too large, or it can be tricky. I debated investing in one of these kitchen gadgets for a long time. I was dubious at how helpful these really are. I have good knife skills, and am pretty adept at dicing onion. Could there be any easier way? Yes, it turns out there is. There are some caveats, though. After reviewing previous comments and watching videos, I decided that I’d just have to see for myself. My first advice is to carefully wash and study how to assemble and disassemble each part. One video showed a person who could not remove the the chopping blade with his fingers. Hello? Use a butter knife! Voila, it popped right out. I have two kinds of mandolins. One is a very traditional one, but it’s cumbersome and takes up a lot of space. The other one is a vertical one, and I do like it. However, the chute capacity is small and you have to click a bunch of numbers to program the cut you want.
So, here’s what I learned. Practice. Experiment. You can’t expect to have this chopper to dice HUGE chunks of vegetables. They should be cut to fit the size of the blade. I also tried dicing some Canadian Bacon. It worked, but a lot got stuck. Maybe deli meats aren’t the best idea.
You really need to be careful when handling the blade. I was initially trying to figure out how to insert a blade with the mandoline feature and I cut myself! My index finger bled like a stuck pig, and it hurt! It was totally my fault. Now that I understand how to insert and remove the blades, the odds of cutting myself are much slimmer. As far as cleaning, I like the “comb” that’s included. Bottom line, this works great with vegetables and some fruits (like apples). I have arthritis in my thumbs, now, so this is a great new kitchen tool I’ll use often.

AMAZING!!! easy to set up and to use! a little trick to clean if you chop onions but the little brush it comes with is super handy!!! other than that clean up is a breeze and it saves me so much time with dinner prep! You have to really push to get it to chop. I’ve used the smaller dice and the crinkle cut blades and they both cut so nicely the pieces are all uniform in size and thickness!! this is one of my favorite kitchen purchases!!

I had bought a different brand of these about a year ago. It barely cut an onion. It comes packaged nice and tidy and everything fits into each other. It’s a little pricey for the larger piece amount but it works amazing. Made cutting everything up super quick and easy. Seems like it is built well also.

Fácil de usar ele até é sim, do restante não posso responder. Pois já fiquei decepcionada logo de cara, pois comprei achando que Muller seria uma marca boa. Nem com marca ele veio, ainda faltando peça. Eu esperava um produto melhor.
